Staff Ski course As the beginning of the winter season draws closer it is time to think about training for your overseas staff. Whether they ski with guests or not it is beneficial for all to get the most out of the 5 months they are in the mountains representing your company and your name. This season we are offering one day training courses aimed at improving both safety and knowledge. Our training courses are aimed at reducing risks and educating staff on how to enjoy the high mountain environment safely. Paolo Pieroni is a qualified IFMGA & UIAGM guide, winner of the prestigious Harpers and Queen Magazine Mountain Guide of the Year 2003. In 2005 Paolo has trained the staff for italy and France for My travel Group Company and every year in Swizzerland for Snowlife Chalet Holidasy. With over ten years of experience and knowledge, Paolo is fluent in English, French and Italian, Paolo regularly works with groups from all over the world and he has the ability to train and educate whist still keeping the learning experience.Paolo is also a doctor of chemistry and as part of the training course will give basic first aid instruction. Our one-day course concentrates on a wide range of aspects, all making it safer for everyone in the mountains.  How to speak to clients with safety, awareness and enjoyment uppermost in everyone’s mind.  Equipment required, avalanche dangers, proper use and practice with transceivers.  Ski hosting, the dos and don’ts of the host.  Leading a group, hosting a varied standard of skiers/boarders and dealing with the problems that may occur from this.  What to do in case of an emergency or accident, procedures to carry out., basic first aid.  Orienteering, where is it safe to take your clients? Planning the ski day.  Enjoy being a ski host, helping your clients to enjoy the mountains. Our one-day course is offered at just £47 per person maximum of 8 per group and minimum of 5.
