One of the Iconic mountain in alps, climbers like Wymper and Walker they dedicate their time rich the summit og grand Jorasse. Despite her relative low altitude  even the normal route is not a simple and quick way. steep and mixt from the bottom of the valley there is no time to have a rest and you need to be ready for this.

Detail Programme

Day 1: Meeting in Courmayeur checking all the mountain gear. Tranfer to val Veny ( 5km) walking up the Via Ferrata to the Monzino Hut 2560m ( 3 hours) a fantastic spot on the south face of the top of Europe.Afternoon, roc climbing near by the hut

Day 2 A nice alpine classic rock and snow climb, up the Aiguille Crux 3057 m 40° snow climb and grade 3 rock climbing.5-6hours return.

Day 3 Climb to the Eccles Bivouac 4000m , a long glaciar steep climb that give the opportunity to refresh the ice and snow crampons techniques. A solitary site that give the view as like from a plane. 8-9 hours return. Stay in Monzino.

Day 4 Go Across the Freney Glacier and climb the col Chasseur ( 200m grade 3) then walk down to the val Veny via the ferrata of the Aiguille Noire 5 hours. Stay i hotel in Courmayeur

Day 5: tranfert to Val ferret , planpinceux 6km , Climb at the Boccalatte hut 2700m ( bivouac- self catering) 4 hours. Afternoon rest.

Day 6 at 4 :00 a:m climb along the Planpinceux glacier and then climb the Reposoir ( grade 4-then 2) , at the base of Wimper Spur go across the top glacier of Grand Jorasse and rich the top from the South est ridge. Same itinery for the way back. 10 -12 hours return.stay in the hut.

Day 7 return to the valley , easy afternoon.

The day of the summit can be changed in according to weather conditions.

Cost includes: 3 nights in the hut, half board accomodation, 7 days Mountain Guide fee, including Grand Jorasse summit rate. Second guide fee for the summit. Technical equipment if required. Are not included: Hotel in courmayeur, lunches, accomodation in Boccalatte hut.
